Race 4 in the Spring Series had 4 boats show up, but not much wind. We had planned to run Course 6 around Herring Island, but the committee boat shortened the race at mark J. The lighter boats, UnPhased and Honey Honey took the lead early. Finnesse nicked the starting pin twice in zero winds with a tidal push. She did her penalty turns and pressed on. Eventually 3-6 knot winds arrived, and everyone finished the shortened course. Honors went to Honey Honey on her first outing this year. Congratulations Jeff!
