What a terrific Fall day for a sailboat race. Manana, ReJoyce, Finnesse, and Tranquility started the race at 11:05 AM. Skies were clear, temp was 65, and winds were 10-16 knots from the south. Manana jumped to an early, but tenuous lead on the first leg (Course 7). ReJoyce was a close second on the downwind leg flying their spinnaker (as was manana). Finnesse went non-spin. Tranquility had mechanical issues with their traveler and dropped out. The 3 remaining boats finished within 7 minutes of one another with manana crossing the line first, ReJoyce second, and Finnesse close behind. After the Shark ran the ToT formula for corrected times, Finnesse was awarded 2nd place by a 10 second margin. Hope to see everyone out for the final race of the season next Saturday.
