Three boats started the race in light winds: La Cinquieme, manana, and ReJoyce. Progress to the first mark was slow, and the PRO decided to shorten the course to the second mark. The winds got worse (meaning non-existent), and none of the boats were able to finish the race within the 2 hour time limit. It was later reported that beverages may have been comsumed while passing the time!
